Jan Walter leads FRENOVA and Fresenius Medical Care’s Emerging Businesses Unit. Goal of the Emerging Businesses is to accelerate the development of Fresenius Medical Care’s strategic investments in new therapies and technologies and to mature FRENOVA’s service offerings as a Site Management Organization. He previously served as senior vice president for Fresenius Medical Care in Central Asia Pacific with commercial and legal responsibilities for a mix of mature and emerging markets, including Korea, India, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. He is the former managing director for Fresenius Kabi in Southeast Asia, and began his career with Fresenius SE and CO KGaA as assistant to the chief executive officer. Jan graduated with dual master’s degrees in business administration and economics from the University of Leipzig in Germany and holds his MBA from Binghamton University in New York.
